We learned about persuasive speaking strategies and appeals. To practice preparing persuasive strategies for different types of audiences (e.g., favorable, neutral, and unfavorable), you’re going to choose a topic and take a stance either for oragainst that topic.

In 1-1.5-pages please do the following:First, write a paragraph that includes an attention grabber to open and grab the reader’s attention, information to orient the reader to why the topic is important, and a clear statement of your stance (thesis or central idea of the post) on the topic (e.g., “The electoral college should be abolished.”). Next, in a separate paragraph for each audience type(e.g., favorable, neutral, and unfavorable), discuss how you would engage that type ofaudience with your topicbased on your stance. Whatmain points will matter to each of these audiences? What supporting materials will be more effective with each of these audiences? What language considerations should you make for each of these audiences? Provide specific examples to illustrate each of the elements you discuss.
