Background: I have been in the public service realm as a firefighter/paramedic for over 25 years working full time for two fire departments. This means I work 48 hours on and 24 hours off duty.Most of that career has been spent working in a high volume; mid sized city. Over the years I have seen every conceivable worse case scenario, and absolute miracles. I need a statement of purpose that relays that information into the realm of applying to the Doctorate of Public Administration with Liberty University (Christian Private University). So, I need a christian statement of purpose that applies to the question below. Preferably closer to the 1500 word limit but not over, please. Oh. Also, just finished a Masters of Public Administration Degree.

In 1000-1500 words, please explain your interest in the degree program in light of career and life goals. Please also explain what you see as the major challenges facing public administrators today.
