After reading the Additional Learning Content page, write a post of 250 words or less that addresses topics 1 or 2. Also, critically respond to 2 peers. One of these responses needs to be a topic different from your own. You will not be penalized for going over or under the word count. Content is more important than length. Topic 1:
a. Explain the four overarching reforms and actions of the New Deal in the Hundred Days (Be sure to read the above articles, 100 Days of Reform and the Repeal of Prohibition).
b. Explain 3 of the acts passed in the first hundred days, and how they helped society during the Great Depression.
c. Research recent news to find actions or legislation President Biden has passed in his first hundred days in office. Explain 1 action or piece of legislation you found. Why do you think a President’s first hundred days is so important?

Topic 2:
a. According to Document 1, what happened to the commodity prices?
b. What is happening in the pictures that make up Document 2? Why is this happening?
c. Do you agree with the logic behind the Agricultural Adjustment Act (1933)? In other words, if you were a farmer, would you have been able to either plow under your cotton or destroy your livestock? Why or why not?
